Enduro, Hare and Hounds and Enduro Tryout Days with WOR Events

“ THE RETURN TO ONE OF WOR'S BEST VENUES 5/6 TH JULY 2008”

“WOR Events are very pleased to announce the return to the brilliant Penybont Fawr” venue on the Powys borders for the next weekend s activities on the 5/6 th July 2008. (less than 2 weeks!!)  

The venue is one of the clubs most liked as it offers riders, stunning views, a fantastic camping area and a chance to really open out and enjoy the power of their bikes.

The big 10 k course is made up mainly of open and flowing mountain trails although the organisers this year are going to include a grass type special test near the parking area and some more twists and turns in the small woodlands.

Some of the natural climbs and Descents out on the mountain tops are plain and simply fantastic, with views across Wales that only aeroplane pilots get to see!

The weekends' fun starts on the SATURDAY with as normal the hugely popular Race Experience Day, offering practice/Fun/Tuition and a mini race for newcomers and regulars alike.

Then on the SATURDAY afternoon at 3.30pm the WOR team will be staging the 4 th round of the FMF JUNIOR HARE SCRAMBLES championship. This is a youth specific series that runs for 1.5hrs with classes from up to 65cc through to 150cc.

The track for the youths will certainly go down as one of the best they have ridden by far.

Then on the Sunday is the 2 nd round of the MICHELIN XC series.

The usual 2hr intermediate event in the morning with the 3hr Pro race starting at 12.30pm.

Camping is allowed from Friday 4 th July at noon. FOC!!

This really is an event not to miss and is open to any interested riders that fancy a go whether that be a member or a non member, all are welcome.
